Why is Hinckley Pride so Important...
Now in our second year of operation, Hinckley Pride continues to support our LGBTQ+ community and celebrate diversity.
Established in 2022, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Pride in the UK, Hinckley Pride is dedicated to embracing all cultures, sexualities, and genders within our borough. We are a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation committed to promoting tolerance, diversity, inclusion, and education within the communities of Hinckley and Bosworth.
We achieve our mission by organising events that bring the LGBTQ+ community together and educating the wider public. Our goal is to ensure that individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ can feel safe in their hometown and live without fear or prejudice. By increasing the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community, highlighting local concerns, and collaborating with local and national organisations, we strive to create a friendlier, safer environment for all.
